9th Annual Technology Ventures Conference, 22nd June 2012 to 23rd June 2012, 1:00 to 0:59 at Robinson College, Cambridge, , Cambridge (20.7 miles)
The main theme of this year's conference is "Innovation in an Uncertain World", with coverage of 4 topic areas: Cloud Computing, Healthcare Innovation, Global Investment and Cleantech. It's an all-day event featuring speakers drawn from around the world (including Julie Meyer of Ariadne Capital and David S. Rose of Gust), moderated panel discussions, business workshops, startup showcase (introducing startup companies from Cambridge and further afield), company exhibitions, lunch and refreshments, and unlimited networking opportunities. The 2011 TVC attracted 400 delegates from all across the UK, and from 11 different countries, ranging from investors, to blue chip organisations, start-ups and students. In all, 17 different universities and over 100 companies were represented there, and we are expecting a similar attendance at this year's event.

Now in its’ 3rd year, the Rock & Blues Club continues to gain popularity as the venue to be on a Sunday afternoon.
It’s warm friendly atmosphere is a welcome change from the usual “smoky den” normally associated with live music.
Adequate seating and tables exist (on two levels) for all fans, with many new found friends.
A charge of £3 per adult (16 and over) apply, but a £2 voucher redeemable at the bar is given to every paying adult. Persons under the age of 16 have free entry provided they are accompanied by and remain with an adult.
Fresh air, a good atmosphere, enjoyable music and complimentary snacks are all part of the Sunday afternoon program.
The band normally starts around 4 pm and perform 2 one hour long sets with a short break in-between, finishing around 6:30 pm
